 The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has released the list of Applicants shortlisted for Interview from applications submitted during the 2016 Recruitment Exercise.

See instructions below:

All shortlisted Applicants are expected to check for their names under their State of Origin, below.Thereafter, check the Timetable to see when your Ministry/cadre has been scheduled for Interview.Candidates are expected to adhere strictly to the date/time as scheduled for their Ministries/Cadres.Shortlisted Candidates should come along with their means of Identification (e.g. Driver’s License, National ID card, International Passport, etc) and two (2) passport size photographs.Candidates are also expected to come along with Originals of their Credentials and two (2) photocopies of each duly endorsed by them.

WAEC PLANS TO RELEASE RESULTS 60 DAYS AFTER EXAM.

*The West African Examinations Council says it plans to reduce the waiting days for the release of its West African Senior School Certificates Examination results to 60 days.*
The Head of National Office, WAEC in Nigeria, Mr Olu Adenipekun, said that the waiting days will now be 60 days as against 90 days previously.
Adenipekun spoke on the sideline of the council’s 65th anniversary celebration which began on Thursday in Lagos.
According to him, the development is one of such steps being taken by the council to meet its mandates of delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
He said, “All hands must be on deck to ensure that the innovation, tagged: `Project 60’, is effective from this year.
“For sometimes now, we normally use about 90 days, from the day of the last paper of the examination to release the result.
“For the past 15 months, when I assumed office as the HNO in Nigeria, we have been working to reduce that `waiting period’ by 50 per cent.
“This is what initially brought about what we had also called `Project 45’ but we want to take it gradually.”
He said that for the 2017 May/June WASSCE, which is about to start, the intention of the board was to release the result within 60 to 65 days.
“So, this is how we came about ‘Project 60’; and in the coming years, the council will talk about `Project 45’, he said.
He added that council was hoping that in the next two years, it would be able to release results of its examinations within 45 days after the last paper is taken.

JAMB 2017 Exams Inform

1. JAMB 2017 Exams starts 6th May to 20th May, 2017 (Excluding May 12, 2017 because of candidates sitting for WAEC's further Maths)
2. Sales of Jamb 2017 form will end on Wednesday, 19th April 2017. Registration portal closes on Saturday 22nd April 2017.
3. The Jamb 2017 fee is 5,500 naira. This includes Registration fees, Reading text amd all other document(Syllabus and  brochure)
4. For Direct Entry candidates, Application will be on sale from Sunday 23rd April 2017.
5. Jamb has not cancelled awaiting result. Anyone is free to apply for the 2017 Jamb with awaiting result. The deal is - your result must be ready during screening to qualify for admission into any school.

We have been receiving messages from our readers as regards the upcoming JAMB UTME 2017, As we wait for the commencement of the 2017 UTME registration, we are taking our time to give out the necessary information that every JAMB candidate ought to know before registration commences.
Today, we will be giving out information on factors to consider before choosing your examination centre i.e the state and local government you intend to sit for the examination.
Over the years, it has been discovered that most JAMB candidates proceed to choose their examination centres without considering some important factors.
Important Factors To Consider Before Choosing UTME Exam Centre
Location: Before you choose your exam centre, consider the proximity of the location i.e how close the centre is to your location, this is a very important factor to consider in order to avoid arriving late to the centre on the exam.
If there is any reason why you have to choose such a centre, then you should go to your exam location at least a day before the exam.
Time: On the other hand, student who may have reasons why they must be at the exam centre on the day of the exam, should endeavor to leave as early as possible to avoid getting stuck in a traffic or some other unforseen hinderances.
Choosing The Right Center: Candidates should not choose a centre because they have friends who have chosen same centre; your friend might have a favourable reason why he/she chose the centre. It is advisable to choose centres that are convenient for you.
